College Dorm Room Necessities

I've compiled a list of things every up-scale dorm room should have in it, here you go:

1) Futon



A futon is essential to the dorm room for many reasons. For one you can avoid a long-winded climb to the bunk by collapsing onto the futon. The futon offers a "neutral zone" for guests to sit on so that they do not feel like an invasion of privacy. The futon is essential.

2) Command Strips



Nobody feels like getting slapped with a $200 fine for damaging dorm walls with nails, so be smart and use command strips to hang up anything from posters to life size mirrors.

3) Poster/Poster Artwork





It is a known fact that dorm walls, if left bare, can make your room resemble a mental asylum. Bring life to your dorm room by hanging up posters of your favorite celebrities or express yourself with a cheap piece of modern artwork.

4) Refrigerator



You will wake up in the middle of the night with a throat drier than the sahara. You will have guests over that would like something to drink. You will be too lazy to run to the campus market while working on a paper. Get a refrigerator.



5) Stereo System



For music. Nuff' said.
